-Part 1 (has your name engraved )

-part 2 (part of the tag that has the stethoscope tube insert)

2) stethoscope

Set up

The set up/assembly of the tag itself is generally intuitive. However, this page provides some tips and tricks to help you get the best experience out of your stethoscope tag.

1) Removal of the stethoscope tag itself (small portion of it is held down by hot glue, use a gradual firm pressure to release it. Make sure hot glue residual is removed)

2) Place part 2 gently onto the tube whilst it is facing left or right (rather than towards/away from yourself). The reason for this is some stethoscopes have double lumen and are thicker width-wise.

3) Now twist part 2 like in the picture below so it is in the same plane as the V or U part of the stethoscope.

Tip: If it feels loose, like it wants to slide down, it could be because the tubing is softer than a new stethoscope. If you wish it to be snug, place another Kapton tape or any other type of tape inside the groove of part 2 where the stethoscope tube sits.

4) place the Bluetooth tracker into the stethoscope tag itself (part1).

5) Join Part 1 and Part 2

6) remove the screwdriver provided (and unscrew the screws in the package) and screw the two screws into the back of part 2

7) Now its all done!

We hope that you enjoy your experience with your stethoscope tag as much as we have been prior to releasing the tag itself.

Tips:

Q: Stethoscope tag keeps sliding down?

The stethoscope tag has been designed to fit varying stethoscope types. Unfortunately, as the stethoscope tube ages, it generally gets softer.

As noted in the 3rd step above, you can cut a small piece of the Kapton tape and place it in the section where the stethoscope tube will sit. Add additional layers of tape until close fit is achieved. This will keep a snug fit.
